Russell Milton joined Rovers in the summer of 2024 as the club’s Chief Scout, leaving a similar role at Cheltenham Town.

Milton spent the majority of his career at Cheltenham, playing their between 1997 and 2003 whilst under the management of Steve Cotterill.

Milton joined the Robins coaching staff in 2014 and took on a vast number of roles in his 10 years at the club such as, twice Caretaker Manager, Sporting Director, Chief Scout and Assistant Manager.
