McCormick joined Forest Green on loan in January 2025 from League One side, Bristol Rovers, until the end of the 2024/25 season.

The midfielder signed for Bristol Rovers in 2022 and has since gone on to make 118 appearances scoring 13 goals and assisting six so far.

The former Chelsea youth product spent time on loan at Shrewsbury Town in 2020 before earning a permanent move to AFC Wimbledon in 2021 where he went on to make 47 appearances scoring eight and assisting nine times.
