Arriving at The New Lawn from Barnsley, Jamie Searle is a goalkeeper who is equally comfortable claiming high crosses as he is with the ball at his feet. Standing at 6'6", Searle is an imposing and calming presence between the sticks.
It's not common for a League Two player to have international pedigree - but that's something that the 22-year-old can boast. He has a New Zealand cap to his name and he also represented the All Whites at the 2020 Olympic Games in Japan.
Searle has had a great footballing education, spending time at Aston Villa and Swansea City - the latter was where he learned the importance of being able to play out with his feet.
Standing at 6'6", Searle is an imposing and calming presence between the sticks.
The towering shot-stopper provides healthy competition to Luke Daniels. Searle's stated ambition is to help Rovers win promotion back to League One.
