Signing with Forest Green Rovers during the January 2023 transfer window, Scottish wingback Jamie Robson brings bags of experience to the FGR back line. He made over 130 appearances for Dundee United in the Scottish Premiership and Championship, and before joining Rovers made over 40 appearances in all competitions with League One club Lincoln City.

But experience isn’t all he brings. Marauding forward down the left touchline, Jamie combines skill, speed, intensity and tenacity. He can be the key to unlocking the opponent’s press, turning defence into attack in the blink of an eye and creating opportunities for his teammates at the other end of the pitch. First and foremost, however, his aim is to defend, secure clean sheets and build a platform for attacking play.

Born in Perth, Jamie developed as a youth player at Dundee, Rangers and Dundee United before signing with the latter as a professional in 2014. One of his career highlights is a barnstorming run up the pitch to score against Rangers in 2021 – Dundee United’s 1-0 win ending a 40-match unbeaten run for the Gers.
