Everyone at FGR would like to wish Kane Wilson the best of luck in his next chapter, as he joins Championship side Bristol City.

Since signing for the club in July 2020, the wing-back has made 79 appearances, helping guide Rovers to the League Two title in his final appearance.

Both FGR and Bristol City are now discussing compensation arrangements in line with EFL Regulations for the development of Wilson during his two-year spell at The New Lawn.

We're delighted that Kane has secured himself a Championship move. He took a brave decision two years ago and he has been rewarded with personal success and has been part of a successful team. We wish him the best going forward and he will always be welcome back at The New Lawn.
