We are looking for a driven and hard working individual to lead the analysis provision within the first team environment in League One.

The individual will lead pre, live and post match analysis supported by a small team working with market-leading video and statistical softwares.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Lead the pre and post-match trend reporting to provide insight into opposition & team performance.

• Design and deliver robust and effective analysis processes and protocols in line with the club philosophy.

• Lead a small team of interns both data and tactical delegating work pre, live or post match.

• Develop innovating new projects to work on during the season.

• Attend all Forest Green Rovers fixtures home and away to facilitate the performance analysis provision.

• Review/analyse (Hudl Sportscode, Wyscout, Statsbomb and Tableau) upcoming opposition to prepare detailed pre-match information packs and meetings for both coaches and players.

• Create and manage video & statistical best practice database for feedback throughout the season.

Requirements

• Educated to degree level, preferably in Performance Analysis or Sport Science

• Experience of professional football and performance analysis in a similar role.

• Good communication skills and able to build effective relationships across departments.

• A flexible approach to work and comfortable working outside normal office hours (weekends, evenings, and bank holidays).

• Highly competent using software such as Hudl Sportscode, Statsbomb and Wyscout.
