Tranmere Rovers make their first trip to The New Lawn since 2021 this Saturday for another important League Two clash for Forest Green.
Here is everything you need to know about this weekend's opponents ahead of their journey to Gloucestershire.
Nigel Adkins was appointed as Tranmere's permanent Head Coach in November on a contract until the summer of 2026. Adkins is Birkenhead-born and Tranmere was his first professional club as a player - taking over as Head Coach 40 years after he first joined as a player.
Now three games away from managing 600 at professional level, he's averaging 1.49 points per game throughout his career, with two promotions to the Championship and one to the Premier League under his belt.
He has taken 30 points from 19 matches since being named as their permanent Head Coach
It was a quiet January window for Tranmere, but the most important bit of business saw them retain the services of Rob Apter.
The tricky wide player spent the first half of the season on loan at Rovers before returning to parent club to Blackpool on January 2. However, the two clubs came to an agreement 10 days later - and Apter returned to Prenton Park on a loan deal until the end of the season.
Apter turned 21 last month and has scored six goals and provided three assists in 24 appearances for Tranmere.
Adkins also brought in Senegal international Ousmane Kane earlier this month. The midfielder spent time training with the club earlier in the season and is still waiting to make his Tranmere debut. He has been capped eight times by the Senegal national team.
Defender Jordan Turnbull has started all of Tranmere's games since Saturday, December 23 - and Rovers have conceded just 13 goals across those 11 matches.
One of the most experienced defenders at the level, Turnbull has over 200 League Two and 140 League One appearances to his name - and he is still in his '20s.
As recent as the 2021-22 campaign, Turnbull was named in the League Two Team of the Season while he was at Salford City. He won promotion from the fourth tier in the 2019-20 season with Northampton Town and is a two-time EFL Trophy winner.
