Rovers return to action on Saturday with a short trip to the Kassam Stadium to face Oxford United.
It's a first league meeting between the sides since 2010 - although the two clubs have played each other in cup competitions since then.
Here's a look at this weekend's opponents.
Having joined Oxford in March 2018, Robinson is the seventh longest-serving manager in England's top four divisions. In that time, the Liverpudlian has overseen two League One play-off campaigns and led his side to a Carabao Cup quarter-final.
The 42-year-old has previously had spells with MK Dons and Charlton Athletic - the first of whom he was at for six years, as he led MK to the Championship for the first time in their history.
Robinson has now managed over 250 games at the Yellows - and they are yet to finish outside the top half in League One under his stewardship.
Yellows midfielder Brannagan is United's top scorer with six league goals so far this season.
He penned a new long-term contract at the Kassam Stadium in the summer, despite reported interest from Championship sides. He bagged 14 goals last term - by far the most prolific campaign of his career.
The 26-year-old joined United in 2018 from Liverpool - the club he joined as a child - and has now racked up over 200 appearances for Robinson's side.
Oxford striker Taylor played for FGR between 2011 and 2014. He scored 22 goals in 97 appearances before he moved on to join Bristol Rovers.
Taylor has played more games for Oxford than he has for any other club. He signed for the Yellows in January 2020 - and has now made over 150 appearances for them. He averages a goal in every 2.4 games - and he bagged 20 league goals last term.

Robinson's side secured their spot in the second round of the FA Cup on Wednesday night with a 2-1 win over National League side outfit Woking. The game was scheduled to be played on November 7, but it was rearranged due to a waterlogged pitch at the Kingfield Stadium.
The Yellows took the lead in the 39th minute through Billy Bodin, before Rohan Ince equalised for the hosts just four minutes later. Tyler Goodrham's second-half goal for Oxford set up a second round clash with Exeter City.
Rovers bowed out of the Papa Johns Trophy when these sides met at the Kassam in December 2020.
In the first knockout round of the competition, FGR took a first-half lead through Odin Bailey, before Olamide Shodipo got the Yellows back on level terms after the interval.
Rovers only scored one of their three penalties in the shootout - with Aaron Collins and Udoka Godwin-Malife failing to convert from 12 yards. John Mousinho took the final penalty of the shootout as the Yellows won it 4-1.
