Following his commanding defensive performance during Saturday’s win over Solihull Moors, Ryan Inniss has been included in the National League’s Team of the Week.

Inniss played an integral part in Rovers keeping their 15th clean sheet of the National League season as we defeated Solihull Moors 1-0 at The New Lawn.

The central defender has been a part of 13 of the 15 clean sheets kept by Rovers this season whilst Inniss has also found the net on four occassions.

This is Inniss’ third inclusion in Team of the Week with his last nomination coming after his stoppage time winner over Yeovil Town on New Year’s Day.

This takes Rovers’ tally to 24 inclusions for the season with Charlie McCann (6), Jed Ward (3), and now Inniss (3) receiving the most.

Christian Doidge (2), Kyle McAllister (2), Liam Sercombe and Jamie Robson (2) closely follow whilst Ben Tozer, Adam May, Harvey Bunker and Joe Quigley all have one nomination to their names.
