Forest Green will face fellow League Two side Walsall and League One outfit Shrewsbury Town in the group stage of the EFL Trophy.

Rovers will also be joined by an invited Under-21s in their group. The draw will be finalised live on Sky Sports at 11:30am on Thursday, June 22.

One of the following U21s teams will join FGR, Walsall and Shrewsbury in Group A of the southern section:

Meanwhile, in the draw for the Carabao Cup first round, Rovers will be ball number 13 in the southern section of the draw. The draw will take place at 2:30pm on Thursday and will be shown live on Sky Sports.
