A young Forest Green Rovers side were defeated by Roman Glass St. George in the GFA Senior Challenge Cup.
Dylan Kadji, Alfie Bendle, Fin Bell and Fiachra Pagel started for Rovers, while the rest of the squad was made up of Under-18s.
Shea Mannings nearly gave the hosts after just 40 seconds, pouncing on a mix-up at the back between Piotr Petrynski and Pagel, but his headed effort went wide.
Rovers' only real chance of the first period fell to Kadji, with the Bristol City loanee rattling the post with a low shot after four minutes.
Pagel was called into just five minutes later as he showed quick reactions to keep out Miles Ferguson's header.
Against a young and inexperienced FGR side, the Hellenic Premier Division side had the advantage from set-pieces - scoring twice from corners in a seven-minute spell.
Firstly, it was defender Louis Ward who rose highest from a corner, before Ferguson nodded one home after 35 minutes.
Rovers improved in a quiet second period and worked a nice opening after 50 minutes when Fraser Bell whipped a dangerous ball across the box, which just missed Olly Sully.
The visitors were close to pulling one back just a few minutes from the end. Captain Alfie Bendle tried his luck from range and the 'keeper spilled his shot, with Dikshant Raut firing wide from the rebound.
