Forest Green Rovers are delighted to announce the signing of defender Jamie Robson for an undisclosed fee.
The 24-year-old has signed from Lincoln City - who he joined in the summer of 2021.
Before that, Robson had spent around 10 years at Dundee United - where he made over 170 first-team appearances, including 35 in the top flight of Scotland.
The left-back played 47 times during his 18-month spell at Lincoln City. He has played 16 games in League One this season, with his last appearance coming in the Imps’ 1-1 draw with Ipswich Town on January 2.
Upon signing for Rovers, Robson said: “I’m happy to get the move over the line and I can’t wait to get started.
“I’m hoping to play a lot of games. I think it’s a great opportunity for me to get some more game time under my belt.”
Head of Performance & Recruitment, Stevie Grieve, added: “Jamie is a great signing for us and we’re looking forward to working with him.
“He will bring energy, enthusiasm and a real intensity to the way we play.”
The Scotsman is ineligible for tomorrow’s game against Birmingham City as he is cup-tied, but could feature in our away trip to Exeter City on January 14.
