Port Vale are up next as Darrell Clarke's men visit The Fully Charged New Lawn tomorrow.

Rovers come into this one on the back of a midweek meeting with Brentford in the Carabao Cup, while Vale's last outing saw them draw against Stevenage on Saturday.

Here is all you need to know ahead of the game:

What we said:

"Port Vale are going to be a really tough nut to crack," said Rob Edwards.

"They’ll be searching for that balance of looking to score but also keeping it tight at the back.

"They’ve had three or four really competitive games and Saturday will be no different. I keep saying it, at the moment, we’re in a good moment."

Team news:

Udoka Godwin-Malife remains side-lined with his long-term injury but Josh March and Jordan Moore-Taylor both returned to action in midweek.

Ebou Adams will serve the first game of his three-match suspension.

Key Player: David Worrall

Port-Vale-David-Worrall

Right-sided midfielder David Worrall joined Port Vale in 2017 following their relegation to League Two.

He's been a key figure in the side ever since and landed himself a place in the League Two Team of the Season in 2020/21.

Worrall finished the 2020/21 campaign with 10 assists, the second-most in the division.

Last time we met:

Devante Rodney's second-half strike rescued a point for Port Vale in a 1-1 draw at Forest Green in January.

Rodney cancelled out Nicky Cadden's deflected first-half free-kick with 13 minutes to go, making it two unbeaten league games for interim Vale boss Danny Pugh.

Head-to-head:

History would suggest that a draw is the most likely outcome, with four of the eight league meetings between the sides ending all square.

Both sides have won twice against the other in League Two, with Vale doing the double in 2019/20.

Rovers came out on top when the sides met in the FA Cup in 2012/13 though, giving them the edge in the head-to-head.
