Forest Green Rovers Women return to The New Lawn on Sunday as they meet Sherborne Town in the South West Regional Premier Division.

Rovers are looking to bounce back from defeat last time out against Poole Town in what could be the final home fixture the side play depending on the outcome of the postponed Austell fixture.

Sunday’s opposition saw the title edge away as they drew away at AEK Boco and they now sit in third place, 11 points off the top with three games in hand.

The game will mark the third time FGR have played at The New Lawn this season with most recently a 4-0 victory over Pucklechurch in mid-March.

PREVIOUS MEETING

The two sides met in early February when Sherborne were able to defeat Rovers late on in the league fixture.

Erin Williams had put the away side ahead, but Sherborne turned the tide around the hour mark of the match.

Rovers levelled instantly through Williams before Chloe Snook completed her hat-trick and the Sherborne victory from the spot.
