Forest Green Rovers are thrilled to announce the signing of midfielder Tyler Onyango on loan from Everton until the end of the season.

The 19-year-old - who has known new Head Coach Duncan Ferguson since he was nine - has spent the first half of the season on loan at Burton Albion, but has put pen to paper on a loan deal at The Bolt New Lawn.

The 6’4” box-to-box midfielder will bring a real presence and energy to the Rovers engine room.

Capped by the England under-17s side on five occasions, Onyango has also featured four times for Everton’s first-team, making his debut for the Toffees in a win over Sheffield Wednesday in the FA Cup.
