Kyle McAllister has become the latest signing for Forest Green Rovers, joining the League Two champions from Scottish Premiership side St Mirren.
The 23-year-old midfielder started his career in Paisley with the Saints before making the move to Derby County.
The Scotsman headed back out on loan to St Mirren during his spell with the Rams before returning on a permanent deal to Renfrewshire, making 74 appearances for the club.
McAllister has also represented Scotland at international level, featuring for the Under-17 and Under-21 sides, earning a total of nine caps.
McAllister said: “It's brilliant to finally get the deal done. It was a long journey down last night so to be here now it's great. I see myself as a wide-man, but also as a utility player too."
Ian Burchnall, Head Coach, said: “We're really delighted to add Kyle to our squad for the upcoming season. He's a player with a lot of creative ability and can bring a lot of attacking elements to our game.
"He has some great versatility too, so it will give us the flexibility for how we want to play."
