Forest Green Rovers meet Dagenham & Redbridge for the second time in under a month as we travel to the Chigwell Construction Stadium.
It was a late showing at the beginning of January when Ryan Inniss’ 95th header cancelled out Dagenham’s 90th minute opener to earn Rovers a point.
Here is everything Rovers fans need to know about our opponents ahead of our first trip to Dagenham since 2017.
Since our recent meeting, the Daggers have suffered three straight defeats in all competitions and currently sit 16th in the National League.
Our hosts' fairytale FA Cup run came to an end during that time as they were defeated 3-0 by Championship side, Millwall, in the third round.
Away from the cup run the Daggers have struggled for form in the league winning once in their six games, which came back in early December.
Following a fairly successful spell as interim manager with victory over Ebbsfleet United, a draw against Rovers and the FA Cup exit to Millwall, Lewis Young was appointed Daggers manager.
Young had been assistant to ex-manager Ben Strevens since April 2023, Young was chosen to carry the side forward and himself appointed an experienced assistant in former Wolves coach Terry Connor.
But since being appointed on a full-time basis, Young has suffered back-to-back defeats in his first two games at the hands on York City and Southend United.
Josh Rees has been ever present for the Daggers playing out a full 90 minutes in 17 of 28 games this season.
The 31-year-old reached 280 games in the National League during their last defeat at York and will be hunting down his 70th goal in the division.
The midfielder has already recorded eight goals and five assists in all competitions this season.
