Steve Cotterill takes his FGR side on the road for the first time as Rovers manager, as we travel to Essex for our League Two clash with Colchester United.
Rovers landed a comfortable 5-0 victory in the reverse fixture back in October. Here is everything Rovers fans need to know ahead our trip to Essex.
“It will be a challenge for us, but if the boys can take last weekend's performance into Colchester, then that will be great,” Cotterill said.
“Danny [Cowley] has done a fantastic job there in a short period and you can see their results have picked up.”
“It’s the biggest game of our season to date. We play a Forest Green team with a new manager themselves,” Cowley said.
"Steve’s teams are always well organised, so we are looking forward to the challenges that will bring us.”
Christian Doidge could make his first appearance for Rovers since 2019 after re-signing from Hibernian on Wednesday.
Jacob Maddox, Jordan Garrick and Nathan Holland all remain out with hamstring injuries.

All donations will be split between both community trusts and will then be donated to local charities in Nailsworth and Colchester.
