We can confirm that Josh March has joined Stevenage on a permanent transfer.

March made 90 appearances during his time at The Bolt New Lawn, scoring arguably the most famous goal in Rovers’ history - the equaliser in FGR’s 2-2 draw at Mansfield Town last season which saw us claim the League Two title.

The 25-year-old joined FGR in January 2020 from Leamington, and scored on his home debut in a 2-1 defeat to Salford City.

His first season at the club was cut short by Covid - and he spent time on loan at Harrogate Town in the following campaign.

The striker played an integral role in our League Two title-winning season, making 35 appearances in total, scoring some vital goals along the way.
