Our Scottish, tricky wide-man, Kyle McAllister has been awarded the Vanarama National League Player of the Month for October.
That’s just one of two awards McAllister has scooped up for October as he has also been crowned Rovers’ Quorn Star of the Month as voted for by our fantastic supporters.
McAllister started all four of Rovers’ National League fixtures in October playing 328 minutes across all of them.
The 25-year-old had a month to remember finding the back of the net three times, first with a late winner over Braintree Town before getting ball rolling in our win over Ebbsfleet United and draw with Woking.
Following his late thunderous winner over Braintree, McAllister earned his first National League Team of the Week appearance of the season.
McAllister also picked up an assist during Rovers’ terrific comeback win down south against Eastleigh at the beginning of October setting up Charlie McCann for our third of the afternoon.
Congratulations Kyle!
