We're delighted to welcome Millsy back to The New Lawn, a player that fans will remember as an ex-captain who helped us become an establish side in the EFL.

Joesph started his professional career at Southampton but made his mark after several loan spells to Scunthorpe and Doncaster before signing for Reading in 2011. Then after impressing on loan at Burnley, Mills was rewarded with a permanent move to Turf Moor in the July of 2013. With competition at left-back, Mills spent the beginning of the 2013/14 season on loan at Oldham, before spending the second half of the season on loan with Shrewsbury Town.

It was after Joseph's spell at Perth Glory when he swapped the capital of Western Australia for the scenic sights of Forest Green here in the Cotswolds. Mills spent two years at Rovers where he scored goals against local rivals Swindon Town and Cheltenham Town.

After retiring from professional football in 2022, Joseph joined the CFO Centre as Head of Commercial, after a long association with the company which goes back to 2001 when his father founded the business.
