Following his goal and excellent all-around performance during Monday’s win over Tamworth, Jamie Robson has been named in the National League Team of the Week.
Robson netted Rovers' third during a ruthless first-half performance in a 3-0 Easter Monday victory which saw Steve Cotterill’s side confirm a top three finish.
That goal secured the Scotsman his fourth goal of the season with his previous three coming against AFC Fylde, Ebbsfleet United and Eastleigh.
The full-back is also just one of two players who has started all 43 National League games this season for Rovers, the other being Adam May, notching up four goals and four assists.
This inclusion is Robson’s third Team of the Week appearance this season and takes Rovers’ overall tally to 25 for the season.
Charlie McCann leads the way with six appearances whilst Jed Ward (3), Robson (3), Ryan Inniss (3), Christian Doidge (2), Kyle McAllister (2), and Liam Sercombe (2) closely follow.
Ben Tozer, Harvey Bunker, Joe Quigley and May all have one appearance in the Team of the Week.
Congratulations Robbo, another superb performance and deserved recognition!
