Jacob Jones has become the latest new face to join the ranks at Forest Green Rovers ahead of our debut League One campaign.
The 20-year-old links up with Ian Burchnall's side from Championship outfit Swansea City, where the Welshman developed through the academy.
Featuring in pre-season matches for Rovers this season, the left-back has proved his ability as a trialist in competitive matches against the likes of Melksham Town, Wolves and his former side, Swansea.
Ian Burchnall, Head Coach, said: "His stand-out feature has been his mentality and attitude. He works extremely hard and has fitted in really well with the group.
"We see him as a player who is coming in to develop over a period of time. It also means we have some extra cover in that area, with Harry Boyes currently having an injury.
"As a player, he's so enthusiastic and can deliver the ball into the area really well. We're sure he will be able to develop and contribute during his time with us."
