Rovers return to The Fully Charged New Lawn when they take on Scunthorpe United this Saturday.
Here is what you need to know about this weekend’s opponents.
MEET THE MANAGER: KEITH HILL
Keith Hill was appointed the new Iron manager in November of last year after Scunthorpe’s slow start to the season.
Before management Hill enjoyed a long-playing career, making over 400 appearances for the likes of Blackburn Rovers, Plymouth Argyle, Rochdale, Cheltenham Town, Wrexham and Morecambe between 1987 and 2003.
His first foray into the dugout came at the Spotland stadium for his former club Rochdale in 2006, the first of his two stints at the club that lasted a total of 11 years.
During his first stint at the Greater Manchester club, Hill guided Rochdale to an automatic promotion into League One and their highest league finish since 1970 the following season.
The second stint brought similar success with Hill guiding Rochdale to another promotion to League One in 2014.
Alongside his two stints in Spotland, he has taken the helm at championship side Barnsley, Bolton Wanderers and most recently Tranmere Rovers, where he guided the Merseyside team to the play offs last season.
KEY PLAYER: LIAM FEENEY
The 35-year-old has made around 600 career appearances, scoring almost 50 goals, and started his early career at Hayes and then Salisbury City.
Feeney had a successful two-year spell at AFC Bournemouth, where he helped the Cherries gain promotion from League Two and featured more than 100 times at Dean Court.
A three-year stint in the Championship at Millwall followed, during which there were also loan stays at Bolton Wanderers and Blackburn Rovers. He then spent two seasons at Wanderers, during which there was also a loan spell at Ipswich Town before he re-joined Blackburn permanently.
Feeney then joined Blackpool before heading to Tranmere, where he played under Iron boss Keith Hill as they made the League Two Play-Offs and Papa John's Trophy final.

PLAYED FOR BOTH SIDES: JON PARKIN
Not many other players have represented both the Iron and Rovers, but former striker Jon Parkin featured for Scunthorpe United during a short-term loan spell back in 2012.
The forward started the 2011/12 season on-loan at Huddersfield Town from his parent club Cardiff City - but headed for Glanford Park to link up with the fellow League One outfit for the remainder of the campaign.
Known as a prolific goalscorer from his days in a Rovers shirt, his impact proved to be similar at the Iron - scoring six league goals in just 14 appearances under Alan Knill.
LAST TIME OUT
Scunthorpe fell to a fourth straight defeat as Harrogate ended their winless streak with a 3-0 win at the EnviroVent stadium.
George Thompson opened the scoring for the home side in the first half, before Jack Diamond and Will Smith put the seal on a comfortable victory after the break.
Thompson’s goal came in the 23rd minute, straight from a corner, which flew over several bodies into the far side of the net.
Diamond doubled Town’s lead just after the hour mark, firing home a left footed finish after beating his man.
Harrogate added a third in the final 10 minutes with Smith heading the final goal from a corner moments after upset Scunthorpe fans stormed the pitch.
The Iron also had their chances with Tyrese Sinclair and Joe Nuttall coming close throughout, denied by keeper Mark Oxley after being put through on goal.
LAST TIME WE MET
Forest Green extended their unbeaten away record with a 2-0 victory over Scunthorpe at Sands Venue Stadium last October.
A quick-fire two goals from Jamille Matt and Ebou Adams inside a five-minute period in the second half sealed the three points for Rovers.
Matt opened the scoring from the spot in the 60th minute after the captain himself was pulled down inside area.
FGR added a second minutes later after Adams leapt highest to head home a Kane Wilson cross to give the away team a two-goal cushion.
Scunthorpe didn’t go down without a fight with Ryan Loft coming close with a header in the second half, but Luke McGee pulled out an exceptional stop to deny the forward.
HEAD-TO-HEAD
Rovers and the Iron have clashed six times in the past and the honours are shared with three wins a piece.
Rovers won the last three instalments of this fixture, winning 2-0 in October, and doing the double over their counterparts last season with a 4-1 victory away from home and a 3-2 win at The Fully Charged New Lawn.
The team’s first meeting came in 2014 when they locked horns in the FA cup, with Scunthorpe coming away from Nailsworth with a 2-0 win.
