Rovers return to The Fully Charged New Lawn for their final home game of the season as they host Harrogate Town this Saturday.
Rob Edwards and his side will get to celebrate with the FGR faithful, returning to Nailsworth for the first time since winning promotion.
Here’s is everything you need to know about the Yorkshire outfit.
MEET THE MANAGER: SIMON WEAVER
Simon Weaver has been the boss of Harrogate Town for nearly 13 years and is the current longest serving manager in the EFL by quite some way.
The former defender had a long career starting with Sheffield Wednesday as a youngster before moving on to the likes of Nuneaton Borough, Lincoln City and Kidderminster Harriers.
After a variety of spells in non-league Weaver moved to Harrogate becoming player manager, eventually under his father Irving Weaver who became the club’s owner.
The 44 year old led the club to the National League for the first time in 2018 before taking Town to the EFL for the first time just two years later.
Weaver has overseen more than 600 games with Harrogate and is still succeeding, avoiding relegation fairly comfortably In their first two League Two seasons.
KEY PLAYER: JACK DIAMOND
Sunderland loanee Jack Diamond traded the North East for North Yorkshire once again this season, joining the club on a temporary basis for a third time.
The Gateshead born winger came through the youth academy with Sunderland and made his first team debut in the EFL Trophy in 2018.
He had his first spell with the Town in the 2019/20 season as he scored three times in 27 National League games, helping the club to promotion.
Spending the first half of this season with Harrogate, Diamond was recalled in January to help an injury crisis at the Stadium of Light, making two appearances.
But the 22 year old was loaned back to Yorkshire just weeks later, continuing his impressive League Two season in which he’s scored 12 and assisted six.

PLAYED FOR BOTH SIDES
Josh March:
Rovers striker Josh March has played for both FGR and Harrogate spending three months with the Town at the start of last year.
His time with Simon Weaver’s side was unfortunately cut short however after he picked up a season ending injury
But the hardworking centre forward has played a big role for Rob Edwards’ team this term, scoring some important goals in a trio of home wins.
LAST TIME OUT
Harrogate ended a run of four straight defeats and won at home for the first time since February, defeating Carlisle United 3-0.
It took just 18 minutes for Town’s Players’ Player of the Year Jack Diamond to open the scoring, heading home a George Thomson cross.
That lead was extended less than 10 minutes later this time Thomson the provider for defender Rory McArdle who connected with the in swinging free kick.
The away side came close in the second half through Lewis Alessandra and Jordan Gibson but the win was secured for Harrogate when Diamond netted his second in added time.
Both now sit on 50 points with two games to go but are safe from relegation and will be League Two sides next season.
LAST TIME WE MET
Rovers left the EnviroVent Stadium with all three points running out dominant 4-1 winners over Harrogate back in December.
Jack Aitchison was the first to strike on 20 minutes, finishing well after Kane Wilson’s run down the right to set up the opener.
Matty Stevens squared it to Nicky Cadden to make it two just five minutes later before captain Jamille Matt bundled home a third before half time.
Lloyd Kerry netted a consolation for the hosts before the hour mark but any chance of a comeback was diminished when Stevens got a goal of his own to secure the points.
The win was FGR’s fourth league win in a row, extending their League Two unbeaten run to eight games.
HEAD-TO-HEAD
This will be only the fourth meeting between the two sides that first met in League Two action back in December 2020.
Rovers have won all three of the previous games so far including that convincing 4-1 victory earlier this season.
The last time the two met in Nailsworth saw Rovers gain an important 2-1 win in their hunt for the League Two play-offs.
