It’s been just two weeks since the previous rollercoaster campaign came to a close, but attentions are already turning to pre-season – and the start of a new era at Forest Green Rovers.
Rob Edwards and Richie Kyle will take charge of the team for the first time on July 13, kicking-off a packed pre-season schedule with a trip to Melksham Town.
Rovers will get two run-outs on home turf before the start of the season, welcoming the Championship’s Welsh contingent – Swansea City and Cardiff City – to the innocent New Lawn for midweek fixtures.
Trips to Yate Town, Yeovil Town and Josh March’s former side Leamington complete the schedule, ahead of the EFL’s opening day on Saturday, August 7.
