Forest Green Rovers Women travel to Ilminster Town Ladies on Sunday, September 1, for their first league game of the season.
The women’s team have come off the back of a successful pre-season. The manager Joe Manns said, “We have a lot of respect for Ilminster but we are confident in ourselves due to our good preparations in pre-season. TNS aside, we have performed well both offensively and defensively, and are really starting to gel as a team”
Their opponents this weekend won the South West Regional Western Division title last season to earn promotion to the Premier Division.
Including our academy players advancing to the senior team, we have retained 19 players going into the 24/25 season. For further information on our registered squad go to https://fulltime.thefa.com/displayFixture.html?id=26594428
