Rovers will be looking to make it two wins from two in their EFL Trophy group on Tuesday evening, as David Horseman's side make the short trip up the M5 to face Walsall.

A win for Rovers would see them qualify for the knockout stages of the EFL Trophy with a game left to spare. Last time out in this competition, FGR cruised to a comfortable 3-0 victory against League One outfit Shrewsbury Town.

WHAT DAVID SAID

"There will be some rotation because some players need game time and we've now got a big game on Saturday at home to Colchester.

"Every game for us at the moment, with the form we're in, is a big game. We need to go and attack it."

TEAM NEWS

Marcel Lavinier will return from his one-match suspension, while Callum Morton, Jacob Maddox and Fankaty Dabo will also be aiming for more minutes.

Charlie McCann will miss the next two games after going on international duty with Northern Ireland U21s.

Reece Brown is set to miss around eight weeks of action with a hamstring injury, while Jordon Garrick, Callum Jones and Luke Daniels are nearing a return to action.

Jordan Moore-Taylor and Nathan Holland are also sidelined.
