Diallo checks into Another Way

July 2nd 2021Conor Shaw

Forest Green Rovers can announce the signing of Sadou Diallo on a one-year-deal.

The Guinea-born midfielder makes the move to Nailsworth after leaving Wolverhampton Wanderers this summer.

Diallo started his career with Manchester City before joining Wolves - and spent the second-half of last season on loan with League One outfit Accrington Stanley.

An all-round midfield player, the 22-year-old links up with Rob Edwards, where they won the Premier League 2 title together at the Molineux-based club.

On making the move, Diallo said: "I'm very happy to be here and I can't wait to get started.

"I've learned a lot on my loan spells and I'm looking forward to taking that forward.

"I'm a midfield player. Depending on what the game needs I can play more attacking or more defensively-minded."
