Former Wolves and Birmingham City man David Davis has become the latest signing for Rovers ahead of our debut League One campaign.
The 31-year-old midfielder heads to The New Lawn after spending last season with fellow third-tier side Shrewsbury Town.
Born in Smethwick, Davis started his career with Wolverhampton Wanderers before heading to Birmingham City where he spent five years and made 182 league appearances in the Championship.
Davis then returned to Shrewsbury Town on a permanent deal in January 2021, where he had previously enjoyed a loan-spell ten years previously.
On making the move, Davis said: "I got injured towards the end of last season, so now to have the all clear and be raring to go - I can't wait to get started."
Ian Burchnall, Head Coach, added: "David is a player who brings lots of experience. He is a midfielder who can command the game physically and is a genuine leader on the pitch.
"It's great to bring in a player of his quality and his knowledge will be crucial to the team this season."
