Forest Green are delighted to announce the signing of defender Cian Harries on a permanent deal from Woking.

The central defender joins following an excellent first half of the campaign making 24 league appearances with the Cards.

Harries, 27, is a cultured left-sided centre back with 61 EFL appearances to his name alongside 66 National League matches.

He began his playing career with Coventry City before being signed by then-Premier League side Swansea City.

A loan move to Eredivisie side Fortuna Sittard followed before joining Bristol Rovers on a permanent deal in 2019.

He went on to make 56 appearances for the Gas over three seasons.

Harries has also had spells with Aldershot Town, Swindon Town, and Cheltenham Town.

Harries will wear the number 26 shirt.
