Rovers defender Baily Cargill says the players are 'devastated' following the 1-0 defeat at Bolton Wanderers.
FGR failed to find a way past the ten-man Trotters - with Dion Charles scoring the only goal of the game. It was a missed opportunity for Rovers, who struggled to create clear-cut chances in the game.
"It's tough to take," said Cargill. "When they go a man down it's our game to go and get.
"We huffed and puffed but didn't create anywhere near enough chances. The quality on the final ball wasn't there - and when it was, there was nobody on the end of it.
"We were bound to have a lot of possession with the way the game went - but we didn't use it in a way in which we could hurt them.
"It's not for a lack of trying. Everybody in the dressing room is trying their hardest. It's not that we don't care, we're devastated in there. It's tough.
"We're lacking that confidence in front of goal. There's a lack of conviction. We're in a tough position. We're bottom of the league and we're there for a reason.
"We can't keep feeling sorry for ourselves. We need to pick ourselves up and find a way to score goals again.
"I was here last year when we were winning every week - and it's not like that this year. I know it's tough, but we all need to stick together as much as we can."
