Left-wing back Harry Boyes has become the latest signing to check-in at The New Lawn.

The 20-year-old joins Rovers on-loan from Sheffield United until the end of the season for our debut campaign in League One.

Boyes enjoyed a loan spell with National League play-off finalists Solihull Moors last term, making 36 appearances in all competitions for Neal Ardley's side and he also featured in the National League Team of the Season.

The youngster also pens a new contract at Bramall Lane, extending his stay with the Championship side beyond this season.

On becoming the new Rovers number 11, Boyes said: "I am absolutely buzzing to be here. It's my first opportunity to play in the EFL, which will be a great new challenge.

"I was in the National League with Solihull last season and we did very well. I know Ian quite well too after playing against his sides a few times and his style of play suits me so I'm looking forward to that."
