James Belshaw has signed for Forest Green Rovers on an emergency seven-day loan.

Number one Luke Daniels picked up a knock against Notts County last weekend, so the Bristol Rovers shot-stopper has been drafted in and could feature in our home fixture against Morecambe on Saturday.

James will also be eligible for Tuesday night’s away game at Stockport County. 

The goalkeeper has played 80 times in League Two for Harrogate Town and The Gas - winning Bristol Rovers’ Player of the Season in the 2021/22 season.

Belshaw also played 38 times for The Gas in League One last term, keeping eight clean sheets.
