Away fan guide: Stevenage

September 16th 2021Conor Shaw

Looking forward to this one? Rovers will be keen to continue their positive start to the season with a visit to Lamex Stadium for our League Two encounter with Stevenage.

Need to know all the key information for parking, getting into the stadium - and even what to eat? You can count on us.

Getting there

Driving

Leave the A1(M) at Junction 7 and take the A602 towards Stevenage. Go straight across the first roundabout and as you approach the next roundabout you can see the floodlights of the ground over on the right.

Post Code: SG2 8RH

Train

Stevenage Railway Station is about one mile away from the Lamex Stadium. Leave the station booking hall and turn left towards the town. Take the stairs on the right before the bridge over the dual carriage way and head along the A602, Lytton Way. At the roundabout which has the police station on the right, take the second exit into Six Hills Way. At the next roundabout take the third exit (South) continuing along the A602, Monkswood Way, passing a large Asda store on your right. After about 3/4's mile, you will arrive at a roundabout and the Lamex Stadium will be opposite you on the other side of the A602.

When you're there

Inside the stadium, there are a wide range of food outlets available to supporters - as well as a number of restaurants in the nearby Roaring Meg Retail Park.

Away fans are located in the South Stand, where up to 1,500 supporters can be housed.

As with all grounds and to comply with legislation the deployment of flares and other pyrotechnics inside the stadium cannot be tolerated.

Supporters are asked to contact Stevenage in advance of any fixture where they wish to bring a flag or banner of significant size for the approval of the Safety Management Team. The same applies to any musical instrument. This should be done with as much notice as possible via the email address info@stevenagefc.com.

Parking

If you go straight across the roundabout by the stadium on arrival then you will see the entrance to a large car park on your left called Fairlands Valley, which is free to park in and has a capacity of around 500 cars.

Please avoid parking at the nearby Roaring Meg Retail Park, as you are only allowed to park there for 90 minutes. Staying longer could see you with a £100 parking ticket. Otherwise, there is street parking to be found in the local area.
