Away fan guide: Leyton Orient

October 18th 2021Conor Shaw

If you're planning to visit the Breyer Group Stadium on Tuesday evening, here's everything you need to know ahead of your trip.

Getting there

By Rail: The nearest London Underground station to the stadium is Leyton, which is located on the Central (red) line. Leyton is an 11 minute journey by Tube from London Liverpool Street and is also easily accessible from other London mainline stations such as Kings Cross St Pancras, Euston, Waterloo, Victoria and Paddington.

Walking to the Breyer Group Stadium will take less than 10 minutes. Upon exit from the station turn right out of the station and follow Leyton High Road for approximately 450 metres until Coronation Gardens is on your left. Turn down Buckingham Road after the park and the ground will be in front of you.

By Car: Please note there is no public parking available at The Breyer Group Stadium. Being located in a highly residential area, there is also extremely limited parking in the immediate area around the stadium. We encourage supporters to use public transport for this fixture.

Many surrounding roads are for permit holders only and there are limited parking options elsewhere. If you do intend to drive to the match, please take care to avoid penalty fines when parking by reading signage and by not blocking local residents.

At the stadium

Visiting away fans are house in the southern part of the East Stand, accessible through Entrance D on a match day. There is capacity for just over 1,500 away supporters, including wheelchair-using fans and includes toilet and refreshment facilities.

Located on Oliver Road, next to Main Reception, is the Leyton Orient Supporters Club. Entry is £1 for non-members and it’s a great place to enjoy a friendly pre-match drink with the family. As well as a full range of wines and spirits, the Club serves an award-winning range of real beers from all over the country, having achieved special recognition from CAMRA.

Tickets can either be purchased through the FGR ticket office in advance to the game or on the day at selected turnstiles either by cash or card. Please note that tickets are cheaper when purchased in advance.

Amenities

ATMS: The nearest free ATMs are located at Tesco Metro and Sainsbury’s Local, both of which are located on Leyton High Road, a few minutes’ walk from the stadium. There are other fee-charging ATMs at various locations on Leyton High Road, plus at the convenience store on Oliver Road, just up the hill from the Justin Edinburgh Stand.

Hotel: If you are looking to stay in Leyton before or after the game then the club recommend The Lion & Key. Please visit www.thelionandkeyhotel.co.uk for more details.
