The Club are delighted to announce the signing of Adam May on a free transfer.

The 26-year-old made 146 appearances at Cambridge United over four years at the club scoring 10 goals and assisting seven.

May came through the ranks at Portsmouth but spent much of his five years on loan at the likes of Sutton United, Aldershot Town and Swindon Town.

The commanding midfielder moved to the U’s in 2020 on a free transfer and played an influential role in a League Two promotion-winning season in 2020/2021.

He made 38 league appearances in League One the following season but suffered a long-term injury that hampered his progress in the 2022/23 campaign.

May returned to action in September 2023 but found his playing time limited.

May has now joined up with his team-mates at FGR for pre-season.
