Forest Green continued their unbeaten away streak with a 4-0 demolition of Stevenage at the Lamex Stadium.

Rovers kept an unchanged starting eleven from last weekend's victory against Northampton Town - with Ebou Adams returning to the squad following his suspension.

Rob Edwards raced into the lead courtesy of some excellent play on the left flank from Nicky Cadden, which tended to accurately describe the visitors first-half dominance.

The Scotsman weaved his way into the penalty and his low cross wasn't cleared - allowing marauding right-wing back Kane Wilson space in the box to coolly slot into the back of the net beyond Joseph Anang.

Moments later and Rovers would've been rueing their missed opportunity to double the advantage. A poor loose ball into enough space for Jamille Matt gave the skipper an effort at goal, but under pressure - the forward's effort comfortably cleared the crossbar.

Within a matter of minutes, a clear-cut chance for Wilson's second went begging after great build-up play. A good interchange of passes between Matt and former Boro loanee Jack Aitchison provided Wilson with the chance in the box, but it went wide.

Despite a late flurry of chances for the home side in the first-half, the visitors came out from half-time firing on all cylinders.

Cadden looked impressive throughout - and whipped in another pin-point cross into the penalty area. Former Stevenage man Matty Stevens leaped in the box - and nodded his effort into the back of the net, despite Jake Taylor's best efforts.

The former Greenock Morton man was forming some great relationships with the Rovers front men - and claimed his third assist of the match minutes later. His effort was deflected into the path of Matt, who headed into the back of the net.

Victory was sealed when substitute Jake Young was through on goal - and coolly slotted the ball into the back of the net.
